Join us for the season 2025 – 2026!
The new wonderful skating season began May 1st. Registrations are handled via the Suomisport
platform.
When you are registering to our competitive groups or to the group for Special Olympics skaters, please
contact hallitus@varalatiimi.fi for your convinient placement in the right group.
SuomiSport and registration
Before registering to any skating group, please create Suomisport account for yourself and/or your minor aged skater. The following attachment contains detailed instructions how-to-get started with Suomisport.
Registration for groups in spring 2026
After finalizing the creation of the account in Suomisport, you can register to the group of your choice. List of groups updates dynamically whenever registration for a specific group is activated.
- Skating school for children 3-6 years old
- Hobby group for 7-15 years old skaters
- Aikuiset Sunday’s group 3 months, technique group for adults over 16 year-olds. For various levels of adult skaters
- Aikuiset Thursday’s group 3 months, technique group for adults over 16 year-olds. For various levels of adult skaters
- Aikuiset edistyneet for adults over 16-years-olds with more advanced skill level
- Entiset tähdet for former active skaters who have retired from competitions
Post-registration
If there is room in the short-term groups (e.g., three month group), skaters can register even after the registration has closed. In case wishing to post-register, please contact us at laskutus@varalatiimi.fi. Note, when you are registering to our competitive groups or to the group for Special Olympics skaters, please contact hallitus@varalatiimi.fi for your
convinient placement in the right group.
Transfer between skating clubs
In case of transferring between skating clubs, make sure all necessary steps are completed according to Skating Finland rules/instructions, for example that your skating pass stays valid in the new club.
Remember to inform us also about the transfer at laskutus@varalatiimi.fi.
