SKATING SCHOOL (LK)
Children’s skating school, ages 3–6
Our skating school teaches the basics of figure skating in a diverse and playful way. The goal is to practice and strengthen basic skating skills and give children positive experiences with figure skating and exercise. Along with skating, we practice receiving instructions, concentrating and working in a group.
The age of the skating school student is 3–6 years. A child participating in the skating school must stay upright on the skates themselves, parents cannot be taken onto the ice. In Skating school children must wear helmets.
You can also register for the group during the season if there are free places in the group.
For more information about the group, please contact hallitus@varalatiimi.fi.

Skating pass
The skating school fee includes an insured skating school pass (read more about the skating pass). Varala-Tiimi purchases skating school passes for skaters in groups at once. A new skater must be registered in SuomiSport before the first practices. The personal identification number is needed to purchase insurance, so adding it is absolutely important.
Coaches
The head coach for single skating is responsible for planning the practices. The skating school is run by the coaches together with the head coach.
